What formats are out there???
Looking in magazines and billboards you will find that they have wil sometimes and mostly have album adverts in them. Take leona Lewis new album 'Echo' it was in magazines, on the back cover of them, on billboards and adverts on televison. This is a very good way to promote a new album as more people will be able to see it.

Mystery jets- young love!!!!
This is bare minimal but very effective. It is shot in the same place the whole time where as our video is shot in numerous places, we wanted it to be the exact opposite to the original and more updated as we think it will appeal more to our target audience. We are having three boys and 1 girl but the original is just a band of boys and Laura Marling is just featuring in it. Mixing up the band with both sexes we thought it would appeal to boys and girls instead of just one gender.
I really like the video to this song, it's simple but effective in the way it makes you pay more attention to the lyrics in the song instead of a busy extravagant video full of half naked dancers dancing on brand new expensive cars.

Profile for our band......
No. of members in the group:- 4 (3 men and 1 woman)
Where they are from:- Devon, Plymoth
How the band got together:- They met in school and were all friends and decided to put a band together, as they all knew they had musical talent and thought it would be a great way to fill up spare time.
How they come up with their name:- They played on the stereotype that all people from devon are thick, that you can spell fudge with their A level results.
Ideologies:- They love doing charity work and just taking everyday as it comes. They do alot of charity events raising money for a charity's that have sentimental value to them.
How they broke into the buisness:- They started putting the material on social networks such as Myspace and Facebook and stared doing small gigs in the area they lived in and Domino Records got hold of this and signed them thinking they would be as popular as the Arctic Monkeys.
The record lable they are signed to:- Domino Records (Arctic Monkeys record label)
Our Song....
As of yet we have no ideas for it yet but that will soon come in lessons and in individual study periods.
The song is very sweet and is about a boy that is in love with a girl and about trying to find her, I got an idea of twisting this and making it as if the boy was this girls stalker that grew this affection for this girl and wants to know where she live; and everything about her.
the original music video for this is very plain it is just the Mystery jets laying on a white floor singing and being pulled about on these large skate boards so that's another reason why I like my idea as it is nothing like the original and actually gives the song a secret meaning. I haven;t pitched this to the group as of yet but am doing so tomorrow.

Anything for love by meatloaf
I love this music video and chose to put it on here as I like the way it converges with the lyrics to tell the love story. I think you could watch the video without the music and know what it's about and understand it. It's a powerful song and video. An all time classic!!
Thinking of music videos.......
Buttons by Pussy cat Dolls feat Snoop Dogg

The Background on the Pussy Cat Dolls!!!!!
The group originated as a burlesque in 1995 in Los Angeles, it wasn't after they started attracting national that choreographer Robin Antin who founded them as a burlesque group negotiated a record deal with A&M records and interscope records in 2003.
In 2005 their first album PCD went to number 5 on the U.S billboard 200 chart which had the successful songs 'Don't cha', 'Buttons', 'Stick wit' 'u'. The group won a grammy for the single Stick wit u. In 2008 the group released their second album 'Doll Domination' which included the success 'When i grow up', 'I hate this part', 'whatcha think about that', 'Jai Ho (you are my destiny)' and their newest single 'Hush hush; hush hush'. Over the 5 years of fame the band have been criticized for its overly sexual image and explicit dance routines and for their lead singer Nicole Scherzinger always singing lead in all their songs not sharing the lime light.
Rough Trade!! (i do like this one)
roguh trade was founded in 1978 by Geoff Travis and then in 1987 Jeanette Lee become an equal partner.
Rough Trade started as a record shop and then evovled into a record label. In 1980 rough trade had grown into a large company and moved to a bigger premises on blenheim crescent.
